Pittsburgh UFO Examiner: Kansas UFO photographed; more sightings reported over eastern Pennsylvania

Scammon, Kansas - 4/4/2009 - A mother and her teenage son were leaving home to pick up her other son during the early morning hours, when they were confronted by a huge bright light rising above a nearby treeline. The two were driving east down their neighborhood street when the incident occurred. The object was described as being a large orange light that was not round, square, or oval in shape. It was difficult to discern any shape due to the object's extreme brightness. They turned north and sped in the direction of the object as it started moving east across the sky. Just above the object appeared to be a huge net. Both witnesses became very frightened as the mother managed to capture a picture of the object on her cell phone. The object continued traveling east, and in less than a minute, disappeared entirely. The two drove back to their house and pulled into the driveway. While the young son went into the house to get something, the mother sat waiting in the driveway. Suddenly, the object appeared a second time, coming back toward the witnesses. The woman's son encouraged her to chase the object, and they pulled out of the driveway just as it appeared to reach the edge of town. Visibility was blocked by several trees, and then the object suddenly vanished. About five minutes later a sheriff patrol care came by, and the witness gathered that he too may have seen the object, and was investigating.
